Laura Richter

soprano

Interview

Where do I come from?

Aschaffenburg near Frankfurt

Why do I sing?

Because singing is a feeling of liberation and allows me and the listeners to experience the present moment in a special way, which in my opinion is particularly important in today's world with so many digital recordings.

And what do I like apart from singing?

Cooking, sewing, yoga, jogging and trying out good new restaurants in Munich with friends.

My own personal musical highlight?

My current engagement at the Residenztheater is a musical and performing fulfillment for me. You don't get to float across the stage as a mermaid in every production, making children's hearts beat faster in the audience and singing beautiful music with a late romantic touch.

My motto?

The journey is the destination
