Lilian von der Nahmer

soprano

Interview

Where do I come from?

Aubing, München

Why do I sing?

Because for me it is the most beautiful and intimate art form. Music — and especially singing — connects people of all ages and backgrounds, which has often given me the opportunity to meet interesting people or work with them. Something I probably would never have experienced without music.

And what do I like apart from singing?

I really enjoy cooking and baking. I love reading and going on trips with family and friends.

My own personal musical highlight?

In May 2025, I had the privilege of premiering a chamber opera at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, in a role that was composed especially for me.

My motto?

Go through life with openness and curiosity and don't set yourself any limits.
