Raphael Riebesell

baritone

Interview

Where do I come from?

From the not always beautiful but very vibrant Berlin.

Why do I sing?

Singing has been a lifelong companion, and I can hardly fathom a life without it.

And what do I like apart from singing?

Good food, swimming, cycling, reading, red wine, and engaging discussions.

My own personal musical highlight?

It's hard to say, but an important spark on the path to my vocal studies was my role as a boy soloist in the production of "La Rappresentatione di Anima, et di Corpo" at the Staatsoper im Schillertheater in 2012.

My motto?

Where there's a will, there's a way...
